Chemsan (100 ml)
Chemsan from Chemisphere UK is a top-quality acid-based rinse aid that all brewers should have on hand in their brew room! It is a powerful blend of phosphoric acid, benzenesulfonic acid and isopropanol, perfect for effectively cleaning brewing equipment before use for fermentation, bottling, and more. Similar to products like Star San and Craftsan.
Instructions for use:
Mixing ratio: Mix 10ml Chemsan in 5 litres of water for a 0.2% dilution. Higher concentrations will require thorough rinsing. All surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and rinsed prior to using Chemsan. Chemsan should have a minimum contact time of 2 minutes. The chemical should maintain a pH of 3.5 or lower to ensure effective cleaning. Chemsan may become cloudy when diluted with hard water, but will remain effective as long as the pH is 3.5 or less.
